Diamond Bar, CA- The new Cal Ripken’s Real Baseball Online patch, released for April 15, 2008, is a small patch with a few minor updates and improvements. Players will notice a few adjustments during Game Play as well as in the Character’s Mission List and RBO CAMP.

Patch Updates and Improvements

The new login page for the game client is introduced with this new patch. You no longer have to login via website which is a good news for those who run firefox or non-IE browsers.

Tired of typing anything with the letter “N” in it and seeing the Player Connectivity Box displayed on your screen? This annoying feature has been fixed so that now you can choose to bring up this Connectivity Box by pressing the Shift key during game play, instead of hitting the “N” key.

Another Home Run animation has been added in order to give a little more variety to the many homers belted in Real Baseball. This Home Run Effect allows players to see a different angle for the monster homer that was hit!

Players who create a game no longer have to wait for everyone to join and Take the Field, before they can TTF themselves. This feature has been changed and reverted to the old way, where once everyone in the game clicks the Take the Field button on the bottom of your screen, the game will automatically start; pending the pitcher position is selected on both sides.

When you hit the F3 key, you can bring up your character’s Mission Book. You will now notice some new missions have been added to this book, for all levels.

A minor and insignificant adjustment to the RBO Camp Ranking has been made, where the color of your character’s name on the Leader board has been changed to help you easily identify your character name.
